How long have you been riding?
I've ridden mountain bikes for 3 years.
How often do you ride?
I get out and ride most weekends.
What bike are you currently riding and talk us through your set up?
I currently have a 2011 NS Surge with Rock Shox Tora TK Forks, A Truvativ Holzfeller Stem, Gusset Slade handlebars cut down to 730mm, Sram X7 rear mech and shifters but a Shimano SLX front mech, Hayes Stroker Trail brakes, Superstar Nano pedals, SDG Galaxy Ti Saddle and my wheelset which consists of Superstar AM-490 rims on Switch evo hubs with white DB spokes.
What types of riding do you normally do?
Normally Singletrack trail centres.
What was the last new bit of gear on your bike?
The last new bit of gear was my Straitline 36t Bashring
What are your local trails?
We live midway between Cannock Chase and the Forest of Dean. So I guess those 2 are my local spots!
What's your favourite part on your bike?
It has to be my Superstar AM490 custom wheels.
What's the next upgrade you have planned for the bike?
My next upgrade will probably be a set of 150mm forks in the near future.
What other bikes do you own?
I also have a Commencal Absolut BMX.
