Cycle Show Highlights - DMR, Renthal and Halo wheels
Yesterday MoreDirt took a trip to the Cycle Show in Birmingham. Check out some of the highlights and hidden gems from the show. This time we've got highlights from DMR, Renthal and Halo Wheels.
DMR had the full selection of their Vaults pedal on show and some mighty fine looking pedals they are. The orange with blue pins took our fancy!
Hidden away at the end of the table were the new Brendan Fairclough signature Vaults pedals, The "Brendog". We love the stealthy looking black on black theme these pedals have got going on.
DMR had their all new entry level jump bike on show the Wrath. At £450 this one seemed like a bargain for an out and out rigid jump bike!
Renthal have a new set of handlebars coming out in the near future off the back of the success of the Fatbar. They have developed a slightly less wide, lighter weight bar called the Fatbar Lite aimed at the trail and enduro market.
The Renthal Lock-on grips will be hitting the shelves very shortly. They will be available in 3 colours and as a Kevlar compound version.
We caught up with 4X racer Jordan Lunn at the Halo wheels stand who talked us through some of the range and the new technologies featured on the new 2013 wheels. These shown here are the Sam Pilgrim signatures he's using at the Red Bull Rampage.
Halo have developed a hub with 120 points of engagement. This is available on a large selection of the range from the 4x race wheels to the trail bike wheels that they are offering this year. The freewheel on this beast sounds absolutely mad! Halo have even developed a set of 650b and 29er wheels so they are obviously backing the big wheel revolution!
