United Ride Odyssey 2012 - Hafjell World Cup Season final

That's it, World Cup season is over and what a finish here in Hafjell, Norway. According to everyone, it was the best track of the season with fast sections, gnarly rock gardens and big jumps. It was also the world cup come back of Fabien and Tim after their injuries.

On the first day of practice Mick, Fabien and Tim were really happy, the track was slippery but fun to ride. The next day was qualifying day, unfortunately Tim ended 91st, not enough to go to the finals. Fabien had a safe run and finished 61st and Mick had a good run and qualified 9th.

Saturday was already the finals day, the weather was just perfect, it felt good after 3 days in the cold! Fabien had a smooth top section but hit a tree on a flat section and lost a lot of time. Fabien finished 70th and 69th at the overall. The result is not incredible but Fabien is happy to see his body coming back close to 100% after his 2 surgeries. Mick did a really good top but lost a little bit of time in the bottom section, he finished at a good 11th position and keeps is 9th position overall. Congrats to Mick for this strong season!

Even though Tracey missed 2 races, she keeps her 4th place overall. Well done!

Last event of the season for Mick is in a few weeks, he has been invited at the legendary Redbull Rampage!

Fabien is going to enjoy to be fit again and he is going to train for the famous enduro race the megavalanche of the Reunion island in november

It has been an amazing season for us despite few injuries, the team has stepped up a level this year, we finished 7th at the team overall ranking.
