Polygon athlete Sam Reynolds shows high performance at Red Bull Berg Line

The first FMB World Tour Gold events have started and Polygon's Sam Reynolds (GBR) and Yannick Granieri (FRA) are in excellent shape. Both were taking home a podium spot and high points within 48 hours. At Montpellier's FISE (FRA) and at the Red Bull Berg Line in Winterberg (GER) Polygon's season in the freeride mountain bike circuit started very promising.

The Red Bull Berg Line in Winterberg with its massive obstacles was exactly the right competition for big jump-lover Sam Reynolds. In a top class final, he finished in second, showing a great run that was in the end barely beaten by winner Andreu Lacondeguy from Spain. Reynolds run was crowned by a double backflip at the 38ft. (12m) dirt jump followed by a double tailwhip at the next set, two super hard tricks back to back, a never seen before trick combo in mountain biking.

Just two days before Winterberg, Reynolds' Polygon teammate Yannick Granieri took a great third place at the FISE slopestyle in Montpellier (FRA) in front of thousands of spectators. Reynolds finished with a solid 5th place at FISE. Obviously he feels already very comfortable on his Polygon Cozmic DX bike: "After the victory at the White Style, I had a great season so far. Polygon was the right choice for me to constantly improve my riding level. Maybe I could have taken the win here in Winterberg, but I'm pretty satisfied with my second place", commented Sam Reynolds his performance.

Looking at the FMB World Tour overall ranking, both Polygon ambassadors are in the top ten: Sam Reynolds on second place, chasing the current leader and country fellowman Pilgrim. Yannick Granieri takes currently seventh place. It is still a long season to ride with many events to come, Sam's dream about the FMB World Tour champion could become true at the end of the year, Polygon crosses fingers for their riders!

The next Polygon chase for points-performance will be the 26TRIX fueled by Monster Energy in Leogang, Austria. Sam and Yannick will both try to collect as many FMB World Tour points as possible in the Gold status competition.
