Nico Vink takes first victory for Rose Vaujany Gravity Mountainbike Team
The season has started well for the new Rose Vaujany Gravity Team. Downhiller Nico Vink won the first round of the European Nissan Downhill Cup in his home country (Belgium) His Dutch teammates Daniel Prijkel and Leo Combee were 8th and 9th respectively.
The race was broadcasted live on Belgian television and counted a total of more than 300 names on the list of participants. Vink, known for his attractive style, won in the Elite category, just like last year.
Upcoming saturday the 4X riders of the Rose Vaujany Gravity Team will be at the gate in Houffalize. Houffalize is the venue for the first 4X Pro Tour, the successor of the UCI World Cup. Joost Wichman and Katy Curd are one of the favorites for this race.
