Cloud Cover Winter Series Round 2 Report

The second round of the Cloud Cover Winter Series was held at Ashcombe, near Exeter, where the key for riders was consistency as riders had two runs with their total time added together to give them their final result! Racing started and thankfully for the riders, still no rain! The event was well organized and went very smoothly with the second runs coming around quickly for the riders. Ash Mullane was top dog after the first runs, followed closely by Jim Davage and Alex Evans. Again, second runs went well with no glitches and Mullane took the overall win with a combined run time of 2:42, completing hit hat trick of wins for the cup. Jim Davage came in second and Al Evans completed the podium with third. A special mention has to go out to Francis Simpson who took 1st place in the Juvenile category in his first ever race, well done keewee!!
