Giro to partner at the Red Bull 50/50

On Saturday 10th March 2012, the inaugural Red Bull 50/50 will be taking place at CairnGorm Mountain in Scotland, challenging skiers, snowboarders and mountain bikers in the ultimate biathlon. The unique concept will see competitors race in groups of ten from the top of the mountain on skis or snowboard, down to the snowline, where a quick transition onto mountain bikes will be required to make the rest of the journey to the finish line. Prizes from Giro will include: 1st place: �1,000 worth of Giro product at retail value, Giro Goggles, Custom gold painted Giro helmet. 2nd place: �500 worth of Giro product at retail value, Giro goggles, Custom silver painted Giro helmet. 3rd place: �500 worth of Giro product at retail value, Giro goggles, Custom bronze painted Giro helmet.
