Sam Hill injured, out for the next World Cup rounds

Team Monster Energy Specialized rider Sam Hill was injured this weekend while training back home in preparation for the upcoming World Cup rounds. Initial observation is that he's re-aggravated his shoulder injury sustained at Fort William during the 2010 season, but Sam will undergo an MRI first thing this week to get a proper diagnosis. At this, time it looks certain that Sam will miss the Mont Saint Anne and possibly Windham World Cup rounds. News of his injury comes with personal disappointed for Sam at the time when he was looking forward to turning his series around. "We place a high value on his contribution to the program, wish him and well and hope to see him back on the bike soon" said team manager Sean Heimdal. Get well soon Sam!
