British Championships This Weekend
British Mountain Biking's biggest domestic race takes place this weekend, with Olympians and World Championship winners competing for the highest accolade in UK racing; that of national champion
On Sunday Ae Forest in Dumfries hosts the downhill event with 2009 World Champion Steve Peat and 2008 World Champion Gee Atherton leading the race against the clock, while Pippingford in Sussex is the location for the cross country, where Olympians Oli Beckingsale and Liam Killeen line up against a field of over fifty riders.
Whoever wins their respective races on Sunday afternoon will have the honour of wearing the red and white British Champion's jersey for the coming year both nationally and internationally, with all the action and reaction covered by British Cycling Online.
