Backyard BBQ Jam Report

The Mafia compound is a private riding spot in South Devon, and last weekend the gates were opened for 45 invited riders to session the range trails at their first Backyard BBQ Jam. The compound is made up of dirt and wood kickers, ladder drops, North shore stunts and single-track laced with tight berms along with the much loved dual track throughout the trees. The event was almost cancelled due to the bad weather the night before, but the trails soon dried up and more than eight hours of riding was had by invited riders. In the funnmtb.com Dual champs the racing was close and competitive in every round, but in the end it was Elbry Sandland taking the win from James Brown. Thanks to sponsors freestylextreme.com, rider run company and Funnmtb.com for prizes and the support of all the riders. It looks like a bigger "Mafia Jam Take 2" will be on the cards for later this summer. For more details on the next Jam in the coming months follow the www.riderrunco.blogspot.com.
