Danny MacAskill to star at motorcycle show

Sheffield has showcased some mind-blowing half time entertainment over the years centered around bicycles, including multi World Champions OT PI, Cesar Canas and Marc Vinco. 'We're going to lift the roof off for 2010' say's organiser Neil Crosswaite 'we've secured the services of the awesome Street-riding/Extreme Trials phenonomen Danny MacAskill’ this guy is just fantastic’ says Neil. For those of you that haven't heard Danny's name before, he posted a five minute video titled Inspired Bicycles - Danny MacAskill April 2009 on You Tube and to date the site has had around 12.5 million hits smashing all You Tubes previous records. The 23 year old from Edinburgh is currently featuring in the latest TV ad for Volkswagen. His extreme riding skills and innovative stunts are in big demand around the world with numerous advertising and TV companies. Following a huge crash in the US where he sustained a broken collar bone, Danny is now back in training and will be making his 'World Come-Back' at Sheffield Arena on Saturday the 9th January.
