Kyle Strait Flies The Flag For Team America
After months of rumors and speculation Specialized Team America has confirmed that Kyle Strait will work alongside the team as he heads into 2009 focused on gravity racing; primarily World Cups along with various other select domestic and international competitions. Premiering alongside his new teammates this weekend at the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, California, Kyle enters the new season more focused and determined than ever before. "I'm stoked to be integrated into Team America for 2009", said Strait, "the program really feels like a brotherhood of likeminded and determined individuals...I'm excited to work with everyone as we begin our '09 campaign." Doug Smith, Specialized Team America's Managing Director had this to say, "Kyle has always been regarded as one of America's most promising gravity riders, both in the freestyle and racing genres. I'm confident that his increased focus on downhill racing along with his integration into a gravity race program will allow him to achieve his goals for 2009 and beyond." Kyle returns to racing in 2009 following a heavily regimented training program in the off-season that included trips to Spain for conditioning and riding. Following his debut with the team at Sea Otter Kyle will head to Colorado to work with his trainer James Wilson of MTBStrengthTraining.com and then to Europe to begin his 2009 World Cup race season.Latest news
