BikePark Wales Launches Most Challenging Black Jump Line Yet

BikePark Wales are stoked to announce the launch of Hard Shoulder, our newest and gnarliest black jump line, opening to the public on Thursday, 26th June.

Hard Shoulder is now the most challenging black jump line in the park, featuring massive floaty jumps, bold step downs, and precise shark fins designed to test even the most seasoned riders. If you’ve been following the last two episodes of Trail Diaries, you’ll have seen trail builder, Harry, putting in the graft, test riding the features, and watching this monster trail take shape.

To celebrate the launch, we teamed up with Tommy C to create a classic edit featuring Josh Bryceland, Sam Hockenhull, Josh Lowe, and Lucy Downs getting sideways, throwing shapes, and christening the new line with serious style. Check out the full edit!

You’ll find Hard Shoulder peeling off from Enter the Dragon, just after it exits the woods. This means that you can now ride Enter The Dragon into Hard Shoulder, followed by Pork Belly (which has also just been given a revamp!) making an incredible black jump line from the top of the hill all the way to the tunnel! You could even add in Insufficient Funds or Zut Alors for more airtime if that’s not enough for you! The new Hard Shoulder may have the name of an old favourite but make no mistake, this is a completely reimagined beast. The trail is now three times its original length, with jumps twice the size, the new Hard Shoulder is a serious upgrade and is a must-ride for any rider with a taste for speed and airtime.

See you on the trails soon, The BikePark Wales team.
