First Look - Mozartt Presto Chain Guide

Check out MoreDirt's first look at the brand new Presto chainguide from Mozart products as used by freeride supremo's Darren Berrecloth and Szymon Godziek.

New chain guide - Presto was developed as a newer version of our popular model - Storm. The assumption of the project was to use the best available technologies, to develop one of the most advanced chain guides on the market. The project and prototypes were made with strong influence from our team riders - Darren Berrecloth and Szymon Godziek.

Darren likes the chain guide so much that he decided to make choose it as his signature product.

Despite that the chain guide is about 20 grams lighter than the Storm, we increased its stiffness by 30%!

It was possible by using thicker backplate, which was drilled from the one piece of aluminum 7075 T651. We also used a special bash guard which is hollow inside. Despite it being hollow inside, it is 1.5 time stronger than the previous model.

Inside the bash guard we used a special rib system, which absorbs the hits and impacts. The surface of bash guard is now also smooth. You will see the difference on muddy days with mud and dirt not being able to stick to smooth surface and therefore keeping the weight of whole system down even on muddy days.

Other new features:

Easy mounting feature. You don't have to separate the chain while mounting our chain guide. The upper guide can be opened by removing one bolt,

The rubber between upper guide plates absorbs the hits of chain. Due to that the chain guide is much more quiet even in the rocky and rough sections of the trail,

The special holes on the guide plates helps to keep the pulley clean, without need to remove them,

One 4mm allen key can unscrew all the chain guide bolts to make things easy!

The Whole construction made out of high quality materials.
