Summary:
Silton DH track, is it still there, here and now in 2018?

Review:
Couldn't find anything other then smooth sloping Bridleway, Forest is just lots of felled trees.

Start area for parking after church in field near tight left hand corner, following from their I can't see anything of consequence worth riding for MTBers in Silton Forest, Sutton Bank nearby certainly had more to offer.

overall a good track! there are two tracks as pollocks stated one oficial (being the more man made one) and the other one is the more natural one. they are both technical and fast in places. there is plenty to go at i.e. drops, table tops, doubles, rock gardens, rooty sections gaps, step downs and a hip jump.
my mates and i try to go up there every weekend, so i would say we are regulars. so if you have any questions just drop us a message...

stop starty dh trail with no flow

Review:
sadly the new sections dont work with the old track and the track doent flow because of it and it feels to me more like an xc descent to a dh track, yes there is one good gap up top but then its boreing till you get down to the drop at the bottom that can be hucked or rolled, they now have a pad on the tree where you land making it safe to launch or safer!

wel what can i say but a very good days ridding theres 2 tracks for a start and both are very diffrent which is a welcome change

first track is left off the crossroads which is quiet heavily man made at the top getting more natural as you come down all in all very good

second track is off the crossroads it comes out between straight on and right, right in the corner of it follow this right to the top and theres some very good sections including a tep fast flowing rock garden which is awesome if hit flat out a very natural track !!
