Had Fox forks on my last bike and loved 'em, whilst everything else was falling apart they kept their cool. These forks are simple float R's but I'm happy without the lock etc. I'll be getting a RP23 on the back soon though as I want firmness on the climbs but plenty of plush action for belting down spooky wood and the local hills.
It's spot on, I can imagine upgrading and keeping this bike for years. It holds its own with other bikes on the trails then just ripps on the decents. Looking to upgrade to Fox RP23 ASAP and get a few more inches from a new bar.

Lot of these popping up, probably because they're bloody awesome! Wicked bike fella, one to be proud of.

nice! heard good things about that pivot system
btw how do you get the extra 0.02" of travel? :P
toyrobot replied... on 20 December 2008
No extra 0.02" of travel, that refers to it's position within that model, there being 3 5.5's on offer.
The 1, 2 & 3. 1 being top dog for top dollar.
