Canada has proven to be a leading market with the MTB segment. SRAM, in an effort to increase focus and coverage, is pleased to announce that Norco will be adding RockShox aftermarket sales and service.
This program will commence in spring 2006 for warranty service and follow shortly after with sales of the 2007 RockShox product line.
“The combination of Norco and Cycles Lambert offering our complete range of products (SRAM, RockShox, Avid, and Truvativ) will provide further support and choice for the retailers. It also brings our Canadian distribution structure inline with our overall global distribution strategy,” says Robert Priest, SRAM’s Global Aftermarket Manager.
In addition to the distribution improvements, SRAM will further strengthen its Canadian based team by seeking to employ an east coast based technical representative. This investment will balance SRAM’s technical support in Canada, complementing Tyler Morland, SRAM west coast based technical representative.

Plans are in the pipeline for a new section of trail to join up the northern end of the existing Syfydrin route and the southern tip of the Mach 3 route. They already run close, and you can join them up unofficially, but the `bridging section` will create a 60km ride of truly epic proportions.
It`s not been made official yet, but the route will be ridden and hopefully finalised this week. These things take time though so please be patient, I will keep you reliably informed as to developments.

MBUK’s third Access All Areas DVD is called Rush! This time we go international with sections from Portugal, Germany, America and Canada as well as the UK!
Featuring more riders than ever before, and riding that has progressed incredibly over the last 12 months, Rush! is jam-packed and box-fresh.
The DVD launches with an amazing section from the 24seven roadtrip to Portugal, showcasing footage of Lance McDermott riding with team-mate Chopper. Lance pulls some of the tightest tricks seen on an MTB – 360 handplants, backflips and 360 whips!
Then it’s on to Nuremberg, Germany for the Red Bull District Ride. The world’s best freeriders compete for big bucks as they ride through the streets – and spectators! See all the action including Aaron Chase’s winning run.
Sneak a peak at the 06 Halfords BikeHut team, take a style sesh from Chris Smith, with a guest appearance from Garry Penman, then spend a day with MBUK in Wales as we take the latest test rigs to Cwmcarn. Then it’s back to the 24seven boys as they take on Timo Pritzel in Portugal – synchronised backflips and massive tail whips and more…
Jeff Lenosky shows you how to abubaca, and then we get a look at Danny Holroyd’s new trials section, including a massive 60ft huck into a marina.
You even get extras from Warner and Ashton, and mechanical know-how in our GrimeTime section.
And, just when you think it’s all over, you can catch trailers of Anti Gravity 2, unscene and USA flick The Cut.
Stick a note on your calendar for Wednesday 12 April – that's the date it hits the shops.
