This ride will take place on Tuesday 26th April 2022. We will be meeting at 5.00 pm at the Gisburn Forest Hub car park, aiming to head out to ride at 5.30 pm for around 1hr 30 (ish)/~10km.

Everyone is welcome, there is always plenty of tea and coffee (and cake of course!!) afterwards.

Helmets are mandatory and you must provide them yourself.

Parking is available at the hub car park, please note there are now parking charges in operation.

Nature of ride:

Gisburn is by far the most popular ride venue we visit, and we cannot wait to welcome you all back for an evening spin through the forest. We’ll be keeping everyone together as one group for this one, a social ride to catch up and get to know some unfamiliar faces.

The ride will involve mostly off-road riding with some sections of road, a ride equivalent to blue trail centre grade (we will mainly be following the blue-graded Bottoms Beck Trail). It is suitable for a gravel bike, hybrid bike, MTB , or E bike. The ride will take place in an outdoor environment on natural and man-made trails, riders should be aware that weather conditions may change, as could the conditions of the trails.

The ride will last between 1- 1.5 hours requiring a medium level of physical exertion.

The ride will be joined by Hope Technology representatives and Guides.

The purpose of the ride is to guide the groups around the trails and not to coach riders.

Cost £5

This year taking part in a Hope WMN ride will cost £5. This is to ensure we are suitably prepared and staffed for the number of attendees. You will receive a goody bag for attending the event, the £5 ticket fee will be donated to Mountain Rescue.
