Hi Pigman,
you can find loads of kit in the bikes and gear section which you can leave reviews on... http://www.moredirt.com/products_categories.php
That new knolly on your profile is looking rather lovely hey! What are you making of the Thomson Elite dropper?
sorry colin only just noticed your message! ive just posted a thread about the sram shimano combo about half hour ago
to answer you r question its got to be just a case of moving the position of the pinch bolt but as i dont have a 10 spd mech ive got nothing to go on i,m sure it can be done and will keep digging as im sure alot of our downhill freinds would prefer not to be running a skinny 10 spd chain
In the Bikes and Gear section? The Reverb is in there already just follow use the review tab! http://www.moredirt.com/products_info.php?id=246&page=2&categoryID=&subCategoryID=&brandID=24&keywords64=
i'll get those other 2 added for you tomorrow!
I look forward to seeing what you've got to say about it!
I dont specialize in bike bearings as such. If you can find out the part number? Probably "62## 2RS" Or the sizes, (inner diameter/outer diameter/width) I can see what I can do.
If not im sure someone on the forums will know what bearing it is.
I am certainly keeping the tranny. My original plan was to strip it ard re-use the components, but I can't bring myself to do it as I really enjoy riding it, so, I am selling my old Audi UR quattro (red) to fund some of the Covert and buy a van for bike transport, poss a VW like every other man and his dog. I may as well sell the old Audi as it has not been driven for 5 years or so.
Hey Pigman, I went and did the deed this morning, I have been to my local Transition dealer and ordered my Covert in yellow with the Fox 34 floats... Can't wait! This years (2013) new geometry and pivot positioning is supposed to have made it an even more complete bike than ever before really improving it climbing ability.
Deleted as requested mate. I have to say those new liteville frames are stunning, the bike shop at cannock chase has one it there. With what I am looking to build, I am really spoilt for choice. There are just so many brilliant frames out there.
There are some very steep hills in Chudleigh but i have never been to Chumleigh so i couldn't tell you. We are just South of Exeter and yes there's plenty of farms and farmers with guns so that probably makes sense!
Small world hey!
The place in Bideford i think your thinking of is Southwest extreme. there are some details on it here...http://www.southwestextreme.co.uk/Devon-Activities/mountainbiking.html It's a fairly good day out! I shall have a look into some stuff around bradworthy for you.
Hi, you can export the gpx file from strava then use that. You might need to convert it for certain devices though but you can do that on gpsies.com. Once you've got it in the right format then I guess you could use it as a guide but I don't think the strava app will work like that, might need to put it into something like everytrail or the garmin app but I think you should be able to use a garmin to follow it. It's not something I've tried myself but that how I guess it would work. Hope this helps.
Hi mate, Sorry at the moment we don't have that facility to add your Strava routes, we are looking at adding that option to the site in the near future. Will keep you posted.
I never had any problems quite like that. If you can't solve it with a new guide, the only thing that I can suggest is mailing Chris Pascucci at Transition for some ideas. They usually reply withing the hour with some reasonable suggestions.
