That's what i've thought, pads have been out and they are fine, and its been going for 3-4months like that. Could it maybe be a broken/stuck brake piston putting the pad at a awkward angle or contacting the disc?

Hi pal, Don't know if you or your wife have done any work on the fsr xc yet (the one ac was on at hammers), but on mine the front brake is screeching like a bi*tch (I think its rubbing off the pad) when going along normal. Any chance you have experienced this or know how to fix it?

Ha! Noticed the rear pads were low, had a spare set so thought why not, put new set in but rotor was tight, thought I'd adjust pad contact point, screwed the barrel too far and...ping, it popped off and spilled a little fluid on the floor. D'oh! I thought. I really needed that fluid in the system. Result, no rear brake. Next I'm thinking I'll service our suspension with a broken screw driver and a hacksaw.

Well, there was talk of a spin out with Buly now he has transport. Dunno where though. Probably sunday since I managed to let some brake fluid out of my elixir's and their in the shop getting bled. £15 per brake!

Yeah. You'd probably get people complaining it's not proper DH; not steep enough and no roots. But yeah. NDH want to run a proper DH course from the top of the deadwater hill but they need to convince all the right people. Ae and Traquair could do the one2one. You've got the trail plus Caddon bank.
