Alrite mate, when you bought your bike did you have to pay import duty and all of that or did the total cost of the bike including everything cost £1800

hey man, thanks for the website of YT Industries, they got really good prices for top quality bikes, i will prbably will get the freeride bike bike with the totems from them soon, its only 2000 euros, and it looks awesome. How did you buy yours? personally or internet, and how long did it take to deliver?

yeah im using the hardest spring i can + 2 preload spacers. im only 6 spacers away from the firmest setting you can get! i didnt expect to need the hardest spring so i got the one down first and wasted £40. i got the extra hard one off a bloke on singletrack forums 2nd hand for £25 so i saved a bit there. im trying to sell the not so hard but harder than normal one for the same price (£25 delivered, £15 less than i paid and its unused) so if you know anyone with totems that wants a cheap firmer spring i have one!

its really easy to change the springs. i did it and i never usually touch my forks myself. i got my 888 springs done at tftuned but i was told it was easy on the totems so i had a go and it was. 200 was good for the 66 i think, its exactly what i got too. i bet your glad to see the back of them now though lol! the poor guy you sold them too is probably going to have some problems in the future with them though. when/if they break on my mates bike im going to send them back again and say that they are still mine for him. hes not as abusive as me though so i dunno how long it will take for him to break them or if he even will!

nice 888's btw. i have some TfTuned 06 888's (not as nice as yours though) and they have been the most reliable forks i have ever had. only one problem since 2006 is the best record out of all the forks ive had yet lol. heres what happened to them when they broke: http://www.moredirt.com/gallery_photo.php?id=3716

alright mate, what did you get in the end for your 66's? i got £200 for mine and they are now on my mates bike which lives at mine anyway lol. my new totems have broken now though. its either bad luck or i need a job testing new forks for problems lol! rockshox are much slower than marzocchi to fix a problem too. they had my forks for 2 weeks so far and i got my zocchi's back within a week last time!

No thanks mate, if you had a V10 or a Socom it might have been a different matter though

gutted. thats sick. i was seriously suprised to see them back this week tbh. the new steerer size means they can never go back onto my quake unless i change the headset now. also i think they wait for a certain number of parts to be needed before ordering spares too. saves on shipping probably.

hey, just got my 66 forks back (a rapid repair! i only sent them monday!) and they have replaced the 1.5" steerer for a 1.1/8" (standard size) one. i asked for it so they would fit more bikes and then be more sellable. i could fit them to my stinky now and batter them untill they break but i think im going to sell them to my mate who can return them through me for any more warranty repairs or hopefully even some new ones if they break again. hes paying £200 for them, freshly serviced, with a brand new upper assembly and an uncut steerer.

thats what mine have already had. a new upper assembly. it did not work, the sound just came back for me. they want to try again though.
