Hi Dave, was reading on PB about using a 10sp clutch derallieur on a 9spd set up,the guy was using a SRAM 9 spd shifter and had a 6mm washer holding the rear cable out from the derallieur.I was thinking about trying this but wanted to keep my XTR hifters,so was wondering where i could find the comparative cable pull amounts.Any ideas ? regs cOLIN
I shall get Carl to take a look at it!
Forest of dean was awesome on the soda air. Its the ultimate bike for the job at a place like FOD. I even plucked up the courage to hit all the gaps at the end of Endo and set the strava times alight on sheepskull and flatland ;)
It's been a sweet bike and my review will be landing shortly!
Just thought I'd let u no I got the 10mm qr for the rear hub..put it on the other day n had a little ride on the road out front hoppin about n that thought it may of made a slight difference but that could just be my mind playin tricks on me!
Hopin to get out ridin properly soon so ill let u no how it goes then but with our s*** weather recently (not that ud no about it) who knows when that'll be!
No, he never even came back to me. I have lots more to put on eBay as well, its just having the time to do it. However, The items that I have listed are getting a good few page views and people are "watching" all of the items.
I am just gutted about the wheels, my lad used them twice!
Dave, I am sure that I could get a couple of guys out there easily for a long weekend.
You have a large garden, so you could get some of those big tents up like Eurocamp does for extra patronage, all you need to do is let them have a shower.....if they are partial to a the occasional wash...lol
Dave, as soon as I have my new bike finished, I will take you up on that!
I don't fancy those hills/mountains on my Trans AM with a single ring up front! lol
