some good news got a giro remedy & some goggles should be arriving in a couple of days still lacking body armour so wont be pushing as hard as i'd like lol but woop excited to burn the gut off in some burly downhill goodness

Sound dude. Bike is looking niiiiice, will handle DH no problemo! I didn't manage to get any pics of the woody slope, but there's defo potential. Only some big bmx jumps and a sweet (too short) berm there at the mo, but when I get the chance im guna have a crack at building some little jumps drops and berms, be around a 60 sec mini trail, jus to practice on locally. Any luck finding suitable body armor?

Wellll it ain't nothing special, just a nice little woody hill I want to turn into a mini dh track ;) goin up now to check it out. And it's a little further down canal from kings norton park :/ As for protection, when I go the cop I use - Standard helmet/goggles/gloves 661 Riot elbow 26quid(ish) 661 comp knee/shin 30(sumfin)quid Kidney belt and No Fear soft foam roost protector. A little OTT maybe lol iv only hit the dirt 3 times and none did damage, I would recommend knee/shin for sure and a kidney belt is cheap and gives nice lower back protection.

Considering I built it, pretty damn good lol! Have had issues every time up the Cop tho, front brake failure last week, rear brake the week before, and the chain prefers to be off than on. Still, getting me down in one piece, defo needs more upgrades and a check over by a pro lol but looking into Cytech training so I can do that shit myself for free lol!
