Summary:
Good XC trail

Review:
My local trail. A good mix of surfaces, both uphill grinds with some flowing,(if a little short)downhill, bits of technical, narrow single track. Good bike shop with helpful staff, friendly mtb'ers out on the trails. A good general XC trail, more jumps, drop offs, northshore etc planned next year to make it more fun for more experienced riders/or more challenging to build on your skills. The trails drain well so its good for winter riding, the forest is a fair size and if you search around there are lots of deer runs, technical singletrack, drop offs gnarly sections etc. just follow the locals and theres always the new Monkey Trail if you feel of the downhill at Stile Cop if you fancy more of a challenge

Enjoyable XC Trail

Review:
Rode this trail yesterday for the first time, Really enjoyed myself. Fun first section tight and twisty with some good speed runs. The middle section was a little tough due to the trail being quite boggy after heavy rain (and my lack of fittness). The last part i found nice and flowing but again very boggy. Cant wait to go back and ride the trail again when its dry.

the first half is good, and quite a lot of fun, but after you meet the monkey, it's lame. the rollers at the end are ok.

personally its the full monty - dog and monkey don't travel just for the FTD

both trials offers a decent work out FTD is a bit easy, but a great job setting it up

I've been a few times and it gets very boring after a while. If your a begginer then i couldn't think of a better place to go and ride. Its not very technical but has a few fast wooded sections and you dont really need alot of fitness to be able complete it!
