Summary:
Spot on single track with views to match

Review:
With the obligatory fire track climbs out of the way the single track in this trail is on the money with fast flowing sections, demanding total concentration as they are real narrow in places. Really like the "wilderness" feel on the tops too and on a nice day (0 cloud and no wind) like we had the views are awesome too.

Llandegla??? not a patch on this!

Review:
Really good single track run's, point down and hold on. Second loop now added to extend the ride but not well sign posted. This trail has everything for a good technical ride, challenging uphill single track, slippy mud trails and hard rock level challenging surfaces!
AND WAIT FOR IT- the last few kilometer's are absolutely awesome, serious down hill play time. Good trail!

Summary:
Ride it the same day as the Marinto get a varied experience only 5 miles apart

Review:
I agree with all the other reviews that the fireroad climbs are a disappointment but then all climbing is boring so you may as well get it out of the way as easily as possible.
The singletrack is awesome and provided you are riding a tough bike bike then you can hit everything at top speed and hold on for the ride.
A little windy and exposed in places but that's what you get mountain biking in Welsh mountains.

A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.

Review:
Really good ride if you don't mind linking the superb singletrack with pants fireroad climbs, perfectly do-able if you are confident on a bike. Know that all the singletrack is only 2ft wide all the way round and big ass drops off it so mistakes will be punished!

Summary:
Excellent trail. Now extended to 16 miles (26 km)

Review:
After a tough, but short, first climb out of the car park you hit the first of the gorgeous single track. Not the best one, but don't let that put you off as there's top quality to come. Nearly all the single track has a natural feel to it and uses the terrain to great effect. Some sections have a feeling of remoteness. Not the best draining trail in the rain, hit the Marin instead.
With the addition of loop 2, the trail is now 16 miles long, with the option of doing loop 1, or loop 2 or combining both.
No visitors centre or dedicated car park but big deal, the ride will make up for it.
