Great for a blast

Quick and handy. Relatively quiet in the winter, however the black gets very boggy.

Excellent for a 30/40 min blast.

Review:
Great for beginners to build up skills, fairly easy with some good fun descents. Like the previous review says if you want to ride it fast non stop your best going early morning and try to avoid weekends as Haldon forest is now very popular and busy.

There is a lot of secret technical dh trails around the forest which you can use this trail to access just beware of other users as sometimes these unofficial trails cross the marked trails.

£3 required for all day parking

A good fun trail intermediate riders

Review:
I found this trail to be quite good fun, it needs to be ridden to your limits to get the best out of it. Because of this if you are a rider with better than basic offload skills as I know many of you are I suggest you either get up early and blast around or you leave it alone at weekends when it can get busy. I found the first descent good fun and it flowed quite well. The last long loop starts a bit boring at first but after that it flows well thro the trees it ridden quick. I know some riders like to link the blue trail with parts of the red this can work well .

Not a bad trail centre!

Review:
The trail centre is more of a family centre but it's what you make of it. The red trail is fast flowing with a few good descents. There's a small black trail at the end of the red which you can easily do more than once while down there.
The blue challenge trail is easy but really fast flowing.
It's what you make of what you got.
Could do with more jumps and extending the black trail. Could be a lot better lots of potential !

Updated since the above comments i think..

Review:
The basics are family targeted, Pump track is for kids to loop on, skills area is so small its pretty naff, blue/green trails are good for the warm up and exercise.
The updated Red and Black trails are pretty good, do these twice and its an ok day out on the bike. Both are fast and have strong technical bits but nothing like a welsh trail... but for the area i dont know much better for single track stuff.. i would match it to something like Peas Lake in Surrey. If you want it a bit bigger then go welsh or Cannock as they are do able for day trips form Exeter
