Summary:
slow in v.muddy areas

Review:
as i'm new to MB'ing i can't give too much information but i did find that the muddy parts to the trail can be very slow, but the rest of the trail very good. Being inexperienced i was slow and didn't know what to expect, next time (friday) i hope to be a damn sight faster. The Beast could have been alot longer or more of during the early part of the trail.

Summary:
Not as good as the red but worth a ride

Review:
the trail is not as good as the red but worth a ride. went today 18/02/2009 very muddy, wet, and slippy. the beast was the best bit of the trail done the whole of the black route then the red and then at the end of the red went back up via the fire roads to the beast again. some skill is needed for the beast because you have to dodge a fair few trees along the way down. overall a good ride.

Summary:
short,gnarly sprint

Review:
the first page said this is EASY.well, who ever said that was'nt riding fast enough!left over from a motoX enduro in the early 90's the gnarly'est part of thetford forest an to be honest, just ride this all day.id say one of,if not the best trails in east anglia.the perfect lenght for a fast as you can go,lung splitting sprint just watch out for those trees! espescialy if you got 700mm plus bars. also the nieghbor of the beast, a less tech smoother roller coaster trail is perfect for a warm up.yea its a bit short but a perfect gnarly sprint

Summary:
Flat, bumpy, ideal for XC riders.......

Review:
I did this trail on a Downhill bike and it was complete overkill!! A good XC bike (or any bike weighing less than 45lb lol) would be more suitable, and probably a lot more fun!! I still really enjoyed it with varying surfaces, covered and open areas, and bombholes dotted around. My mate and me did the bombholes a fair few times, taking different routes just for a laugh. The best bit for me was the Beast which is near the end of the trail....

I give this trail an 8 looking through the eyes of an XC rider. But very low score if looking for something challenging downhill wise.....
