Summary:
No Flow on the red route

Review:
Went on xmas eve day with my friend James and we are both seasoned Mountain Bikers. We Found the red route had not a lot flow to it ( there was a couple of sections that flowed ok). It was very rocky and unfinished in places(or worn badly). We both found as well in some places that random boulders seemed to be put right in the middle of the trail to climb over as we were getting some speed up for no apparent reason and not allowing any flow. Hully gully also is in need of major repair work. Very disappointed with the whole experience and not somewhere I'll be rushing back to. Maybe I've been spoilt by the Altura trail and Coed Y Brenin. Theres definitely a lot of room for improvement on this trail.

Amazing Trail

Review:
First time there last weekend (11-11-12) and absolutly loved it. First time in my life I've enjoyed uphill sections as well as the fun stuff. I regularly head to Llandegla however I'll be heading this way a lot more now. 10/10 for me.

Gully gully is so fun

Review:
The red is so fun. It's got jumps, drops, berms it has everything. It's got black turn offs that are rocky and rough. Hully gully is so fun because you can go so high and really fast. Also the hope line is very fun. I would definitely go there if you like rocky trails

really nice trails

Review:
brilliant trails the red figure of 8 is slightly disjointed in places and doesn't really flow but is more than made up for by the brilliant parts of light downhill init that leave u looking for another way up the black route's around the crag are short but fun and need an amount of technical skill and hully gully a fun fast flowing descent but as black routes go its not a very hard one if your looking for slightly harder ones up north i would try hamsterly but in my opinion the best of the trails has to be the hope free ride trail with its large jumps and flowing berms makes it one of my all-time Favorited trails sadly i cannot comment on the blue trail as i have not ridden it. all the trails are ridable for those who have ridden those graded trails before and im 14 and i can ride every thing there so the older riders among you should be able to ride it all two and for a great experiance also bring a downhill bike for the other trails which are a good new introducer into downhill for hose with previous mtb experience and a great place for practised downhillers have a good thrashing i have both bikes so i bloody love this place but if you want a down hill challenge try else where.

Review:
Having got a bit frustrated that my local (South Eastern) XC trails weren't really pushing me or my new Stumpy very much, I took a trip up North to do Grizedale and Gisburn forest last weekend. Grizedale was ok but a bit dull to be honest, but Gisburn didn't disappoint at all - it was pretty wet and muddy in places and this probably made it quite a bit more demanding than it would be dry (to be expected of course) and meant that once or twice there were sections that were a bit beyond me, which was just what I was looking for - somewhere a bit challenging.

The maintenance of the trails was really impressive, and the route feels very 'designed' as opposed to 'made up' as can often be the case.

Can't wait to go back and do Hully Gully, which I missed this time around sadly.
