Bedgebury Forest Mountain Bike Trails in Kent offers a great mountain bike experience for all abilities, with over 25km of traffic free signposted cycle trails. Bedgebury’s 800 hectares contains a 9km family friendly circuit which uses the forest’s extensive network of forest roads and bridleways. In addition to the family trail there is an ever expanding and improving circuit of MTB singletrack trails.
Bedgebury's 13km Singletrack MTB trail winds through the forest, with twisty turns and varied elevations. Designed for mountain bikers, it features an optional red/black section with rock gardens, kickers, and drops for added challenge.
This 9km intermediate trail navigates Bedgebury Forest's 2000 acres on shared-use roads, requiring basic off-road cycling skills. A shorter 4km family trail is available for younger riders.
Bedgebury is located close to the Kent/East Sussex border, approximately 2 miles north of Flimwell and within an hour’s travel from London, Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Ashford, Hastings and Eastbourne. From London leave the M25 at junction 5 and join the A21 southbound towards Hastings. Bedgebury is signposted off the A21 on the B2079, approximately 12 miles southeast of Tunbridge Wells and 16 miles northwest of Hastings. The new Visitor Centre and car park gives easy access to both the National Pinetum and Forest.
