120 km. 3,000 meters. Only 12 hours. The Merritt Crown is an endurance mountain bike race for the most noble mountain bikers.
About this Event
Choose from three options:
The course joins the four major singletrack riding areas of the Nicola Valley: Coutlee Plateau, Iron Mountain, Lundbom, and Swakum Mountain. The course will be well marked but it is 120km and there may be sections that have less markings than others. Navigation is required.
New for 2021: It is mandatory that all racers have the course map loaded on their navigation device. All racers must carry their phone, loaded with and running our live tracking app. There will be 3 aid stations with water and light snacks.
Time limit: 12 hours (5pm deadline to reach end of section 3)
