Profile racing do the imperial in white now you should see if theyve got your size, though im not a big imperial fan as i had one and the teeth wore dramatically in about 32 hours riding. :(

Hey mate just read about your probs :( atleast the crank is here :) ,have only heard good things about eclat there kit is very high quality, and with it being 2 piece it will be seriously stiff i used to ride on a 2 piece and it was bombproof.

hey Pauuuuul, I noticed on the forums your looking at 203mm rotor for the front of your bike....dont do it mate i used to run a 203 and it is way to much for a hardtail i ended up downgrading to a 160mm on fornt and rear you Really dont need anymore than that on a DJ hardtail. Bones

Hey Pauuuuul Have you got the gusset hole in the head or the atomlab twister star fangled nut? if so can you tell me the diameter of the hole in the centre please, ive had a look at them online but from the pics ive seen it doesnt look big enough for a goodridge hose to go through.

Yeah there is s@*t loads of adjustment but the more the better imo allows for ultimate fine tuning for each individual rider. Ive got 2 setttings for mine and that is 120mm very little compression and quite slow rebound. the second setting is set to 95mm full compression and floodgate set all the way + this is awesome for street as they are locked out but still give me about 5-10mm of travel just to take the shock out of the concrete. Took me about 2 months of fiddling to get them to exactly how i wanted but well worth all the f@*&ing about.

lol i know what our saying i had all intentions then when i thought about taking a drill to my pikes i backed off :D...yes mine is the same it is threaded. I might look into it more this weekend and give it a go 9mm sounds about right and if it is filed down well after shouldnt cause any damage to the hose.. i will let you know how it goes and send some pics aswell once ive done it so you can see how it works out

evilbones wrote on 20 July 2009 13:41

so you drilled your pikes to get the hose through...this is something i was thinking of doing but wasnt sure....has it worked out well ? what size hole did you drill ?

checked out the pic of your rear hub as this shows the hose clearist and it is def a goodridge you can tell by the larger diameter compared to standard hoses.
