Summary:
the new section great
Review:
Although the hardcore guys will complain the blue run is not challenging enough the new section of the blue run is fast and seems much longer. Many may disagree but kid downhill is better than the red run in terms of time having fun. In my opinion it is awesome, the only problem being you can get families going slow and being a little out of their depth.

Superb Route for Novices, with a bit of excitement
Review:
I took two groups of novice mountain bikers there last week 21 Jun 10 and the blue route was awesome. It had just the right amount of climbing for them and the downhill sections were easy enough for them to handle at speed, (some became braver after the first run round). Nice for the more experienced like me to have a warm up on, then the trail centre for a crackin bacon butty and coffee before hitting the red route. Friendly staff and a great place to ride, Thanks

Superb Introduction to MTB
Review:
Llandegla shop and Cafe is a brilliant start/finish point. Good food and drink and a great atmosphere.
The Blue trail is a great introduction to MB. Pretty tough climbing for the 1st half but it's intersting and the forest beautiful.
The 2nd half is full on downhill fun but obviously aimed at beginners. There are some nice Berms and jumps that beginners can have a go at if the confidence is there and these can still be exploited by the more experienced.
If you want to get your girl into Mountain Biking, take her here!!
If you get round the Blue easy enough and you have time/energy you can have a go at the Red route.
Highly recommended
Score is reflective of overall experience and fun factor compared with other "beginner" routes
