TOP RIDING FOR FOR ALL STANDARDS

Review:
4 TRACKS NOW -and I believe more planned.
Kids are into Down hill and this has the most technical you'll ever need to push them. It also has fun routes thats allows all riders to progress if they aren't up to the harder stuff but still challenging if ridden faster.
Run by volunteers -amazing whats been created here including some basic facilities and now an uplift which believe me is worth it ;@)

One of the Best UK Downhill areas. Definetly the best in the South

Review:
People are always telling me about how Cwmcarn is so good, but I've never seen the appeal of driving that far for a single track that is nowhere near a good as the ones found at Gawton. If I owned a caravan I'd have spent the summer there and not got bored, 3 tracks each one unique in its own way, providing endless fun. It was also my first every DH race on super tavi! Talk about jumping in the deep end!!

Best DH in England!?!

Review:
This place is superb, nothing else to say really. The push up is a bit of a bitch but you can always book the uplift if your lazy/unfit.

Glad I'm a Local

Review:
As a relative newbee to DH ( xc rider for many years ), to have this place within a few miles of home is incredible. I ride a short travel bike so most of my time is spent on HSD and its a blast. Cant stop grinning and I never get bored of it.
Super Tavi and Egypt are way more technical that me or the bike can handle ( yet ) but I have done various sections of each and will eventually do a complete run at my own level...
If you are a beginner like me, dont be put off. Give it a go, u wont be dissapointed.
Great place and good advice from local shop Dartmoor Cycles in Tavistock.

Summary:
To Uplift or not to Uplift

Review:
I can manage 6 or 7 push-ups in a day, after that I'm too tired to ride (maybe I'm unfit or just old). The uplift will give you 12+ descents in a day (and after that I'm tired too). The uplift costs a fortune to run (blame the insurance) and at £25 per day per rider it just over breaks even. Leonhawkes doesn't think it's worth it, others do. Whether you do or not, there is no denying that the tracks are superb and well worth a visit.
