Description
Wakefield Skate Park located near the Thornes Park athletics track. The Skate Park has been created for use by skateboarders, BMXers and inline skaters and was designed, in consultation with Skate Wakefield, by a pro boarder from Gravity Engineering Ltd.
It is a bespoke structure which was created using the latest spray concrete technology and is one of the largest of its kind in the UK. It also contains a number of features which are unique to the site and cannot be found anywhere else in the country. The skate park has already been earmarked as a venue for skate and BMX tours, demos and competitions.
