Gawton Downhill in the Tamar Valley near Tavistock, West Devon features three downhill tracks.
Super-Tavi (double black) - Massively technical, two huge jumps (among other challenges) - experts only.
Egypt (black) - Natural surface, lots of steep switchbacks, incredibly difficult when wet!
HSD (Red) - Super smooth free-ride track, very fast and a mile long!
Gawton Downhill and and our other area, Tavi Woodlands are both on private land which we lease from the Landowners, As a result you MUST BE A MEMBER to ride at either location. Annual membership is currently £30 and day passes for non-members can be purchased from Dartmoor cycles in Tavistock for £5.
You must be able to provide proof of Membership/day membership at all times when at Gawton or Tavi Woodlands.
