Ricochet downhill trail is probably the fastest of the five runs with bigger, sweeping turns interspersed with rooty sections.
The top section is a gentle slope through the woods with a few small table-tops, before some big bermed turns into the steeper section of the course. While not as sheer as the Black Run, it still has plenty of challenge with fast off-camber sections and rooty drops, before a set of tighter switchbacks at the end.
Ricochet is suitable for all riders; the top is especially appropriate for those starting out riding downhill. It contains small jumps and technical elements, but everything can be rolled over.
A great run to start your downhill riding at Aston Hill.
From Aylesbury, take the A41 south towards Hemel Hempsted. Follow the road as it becomes dual carriageway and then take the second exit onto the B4009. Follow this west towards Wendover, turning left to stay on the B4009. Once the woods appear on your left, turn left to climb a minor road. The car park is on your left halfway up the hill.Comments

Please note: Distance is calculated as air distance or "as the crow flies" the most direct route between two points, so the distance by road maybe slightly longer.
