Trail Description

Nevis Range is home to the internationally acclaimed downhill track. Cyclists and their bikes are whisked from the car park to an altitude of 2150ft in specially adapted gondolas!

The fun starts at the top station, where cyclists begin their 2000ft descent back to the car park, on the 3km track. The track is steep and fierce in places and is only recommended for skilled riders. Europe 's top riders descend the course in around 4 minutes, with no rest or mercy for a drop in concentration.

The downhill track is open to the public daily between 11am - 3pm, from mid May until mid September, however on occasions the track may be closed for maintenance, or to prevent wet weather damage. We suggest that if you have a long journey you contact Nevis Range in advance to avoid disappointment.
