UK Bike Park will the first ever race at the incredibly popular Triscombe riding spot near Bridgwater has been rescheduled for 30th Jan 2011.
Triscombe is the secret training ground of many of the UK's top Elite riders including English Champ Rich Thomas and Welsh Champ Brendan Fairclough. Riders have been waiting for over 10 years to race here and this will be first race at the site ever.
We've selected a decent and challenging track with lots of roots, rock and fun jumps. It will keep you all grinning but still be very doable by all riders.
We've arranged sponsorship from the Forestry Commission, Juice Lubes, The Bicycle Chain bike shop, Wideopenmag.co.uk and EDF Energy. Prizes include metal trophies for the top 3 in every category, bottles of bubbly for overall winners donated by Wideopenmag.co.uk, a box of tubes from Juice Lubes for the 69th rider, tons of quality bike prizes from The Bicycle Chain bike shops AND the winner of the fancy dress gets a free uplift for them and three mates on the Triscombe uplift service!
If you want to race for the first time or simply like to compete against your mates, our race series is perfect for you.
The race will include BC ranking points, Ripper & Expert category, PA & music system, TAG Timing/race start clock and on-site refreshments including mum's cake.
