love yeti even though i havent even seen one before! this one is very nice but you should get white wheels to make it pimp! + get rid of the mud guards please haha and lower the seat!

ashley_photog replied... on 5 December 2010

sorry the guards stay, due to dislikeof mud in my face and a wet arse, and the saddle height changes according to how I need it.

nicee but whats it built for has parts for freeride and xc

ashley_photog replied... on 12 February 2009

there's no parts no here for XC, this can be used for both Freeride and downhill(with one or two minor adjustments), I've even managed to take it round the follow the dog trail at cannock though it was hard work.

sweet bike i`ve always rated these as one of the best freeride bikes, what do you think of the forks? are they the rcv as i`m thinking of getting some for the new goose, still not into the mud guards i would rather get soaked than look at them lol, but your riding it so its your choice

ashley_photog replied... on 2 February 2009

Yeah they're the RCV's lighter than a dual crown fork, but heavy enough to be sturdy and feel right, out of the box they'll no doubt feel a bit tight, but that's the way Marzocchi have alway's been, a few weeks riding and they're bedded in. you'll also have to get them properly setup, Marzocchi's have become a little notorious recently for coming out of the factory needing the oil height adjusting. but other than that they are ace.

nice looking bike, colour scheme is well matched. i agree with jake g1 on the mud guards but your reply is cool too. a wet arse sucks. have you tried wearing waterproof clothing at all? a good pair of shorts/trousers would let you get rid of the tail.

ashley_photog replied... on 31 January 2009

PS thanks for the Rate fella

ashley_photog replied... on 31 January 2009

Waterproof's are more expensive, and you tend to overheat a bit on longer trail's, it's also a bit more expensive when you fall off, learn't that one already :-s

ashley_photog replied... on 30 January 2009

What can I say, I just don't like getting a wet arse anymore. Only leave them on for general riding, Hoping to compete this year, so they'll be coming of for the events. thanks for the rate!

Almost exactly what i would go for if i had some decent drops near me, fair play, nice job

ashley_photog replied... on 22 January 2009

to add to that, it rides quite well in general terrain, and the ability to adjust the amount of travel is good feature too.

ashley_photog replied... on 21 January 2009

Just need to get the oil level in the forks lowered a bit, their too progressive at the momment.

Recently finished bike, built to replace my San Andreas, after it was stolen. 7" travel Front and rear, XT/SLX mix drivetrain, Hayes HFX9 8" brakes, Atom Lab wheels, Marzocchi 66 forks. Frame was repainted by the previous owner, making the whole frame white, I then got some replacement Decals to complete the finish. looking forward to getting it out and give it a damn good thrashing!
