when i went to tyn-y-coed woods on wednesday 7th march i found someworkers putting up a fence to stop people falling into the "quarry". the fence covers the end of one of the tracks so just a warning if anyone goes there... (you may have to live in cardiff to know where i mean) :?

OMG that's very dangerous, I ride through Tyn-Y-Coed very often and have been wondering when they may put up a fence cos they've been cutting trees down there for a while now and laying them on the track, I had a feeling we were not welcome up there but they know we ride there so a notice for safety should have been erected!

I was riding through there the Sunday before and noticed they had put a new fence at the top.
By quarry so do you mean at the end of trail where you ride down the face of the quarry towards the road? Really stupid if they haven't erected warning signs!
