Great news for Gawton Gravity Hub, home to some of the best downhill trails in the UK has recently announced a new uplift operator, Zero Gravity Uplifts.

Gawton Gravity Hub has been without a regular uplift service for a few months now so locals Chaz and Kirk Lamley have stepped up to replace Flyup Downhill as the official uplift service at Gawton.

The new uplift service will start off by running on Saturdays only for now using two 4×4’s and custom built trailers. If the demand is there from riders, the team hope to extend the service and offer additional uplift days during the week.

Uplifts cost £28 per rider for a full day, £18.00 half day (1pm-4pm) and a single uplift available for £3.50 with profits going straight back into the club to maintain the tracks and improve riding in the area.

Riders need to pay online in advance (www.zerogravityuplift.co.uk) and also hold a Club membership (day memberships are available for £5 a day from the uplift drivers or online here).

Located just outside Tavistock in Devon, Gawton has five trails offering a good mix of fun, technical, steep downhill tracks including a pump track to get warmed up on.

You are really missing out if you haven’t ridden the trails at Gawton and if you have been meaning to get back there then one of the most popular trails “Proper Job” has recently had a makeover and is more fun then ever!
