Mendip 24 - Charity Mountain Bike Event

12 February 2017  |

Mendip24 will run over the weekend of 13/14 May 2017 and resurrects Europe's first 24 hour charity mountain bike event, previously called CLIC24. This very popular annual event, held on the Mendips, North Somerset, raised over £1/3 million for charity in the ten years it ran up to 2011. And now – under the management of The Rotary Club of Wrington Vale and with a brand new course and base camp at Mendip Raceways, it is back…. as Mendip24.

Mendip24 will retain the great CLIC24 vibe. Under new management but with the old crew of keen mountain biking enthusiasts still behind the scenes, it is set to be an enduring and endearing early event in the mountain bike event calendar as well as being a major charity fundraiser for Rotary.

There will be free family friendly camping, live music and a full bar (provided by Thatchers Cider), home-cooked food and an amazing course and event base camp. All profits from rider registrations and sponsorship are in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust and other charities supported by Rotary.
